GIVEAWAY DAY!!!!

You will receive 1 pkg of Texture Magic Size: 47" x 18". Detailed instructions included. Along with 35, pre-cut 2"x 2" squares in a fun variety of prints and this fun little purse size notebook holder made by me (notebook & mini pen included)! All you have to do is leave me a comment in this post, tell me about a fun sewing product you love! Deadline is midnight 12:00 Eastern time in May 31st! Winner will be chosen randomly and announced on June 1st. International welcome!

I wanted to have a tutorial finished to post, I made this little notebook cover, but then thought there are already so many wonderful tutorial out there already! Like this one, and this one and this one is great too.

So Here is a bit of mine in photos...
I started with lots of 2" x 2" squares.

Stitched them together.

The used Fusible Fleece and the Texture Magic. Iron on the Fusible Fleece

and the pin the Texture Magic in to place.

Quilt the seams to hold the Texture Magic in to place.

The using a STEAM IRON "DO NOT TOUCH IRON TO TEXTURE MAGIC",

you hold over iron a few inches over to steam and the fabric starts to shrink.

Depending on where you stitched your fabric to the Texture Magic

is where it will pucker. I ran my stitches on all of the seams

to create little pillows of patches!

Your creative ideas are endless with this product!

This is the back view of the mini notebook holder

Good luck and be sure to check Sew Mama Sew for a complete list of giveaways!

Pretty Please..............

I simply love the color and emotion expressed in every single fabric design created by Jennifer Paganelli. I have been working my way through Pretty Please & Flower Power and can hardly wait till Dance With Me arrives in stores! Here is a peek at a design using Pretty Please I am currently working on! It will not be a quilt....... I love how all of the fabrics work together. I will have more pics soon!I also wanted to share my great find on etsy! I have been drooling over all of the quilts made out of vintage sheets/linens like this one , this one and this one.......

anyway vintage sheets can get expensive especially when you want to do a scrappy quilt.
Well I found this lady, she has the store Whimsiedots on etsy, she specializes in fat quarter bundles of vintage bed linens and they are really reasonable priced!. I was super excited, here are the fabrics I purchased!

I also have these on the way! I can not wait to start on that quilt!!!!!

Here is a peek at the main component used in a new tutorial I am working on along with a fun giveaway!
