Paper Crafting and Holiday Stocking Swap

I have been busy creating some pretty little paper banners for the Holiday Swaps I am participating in. Paper crafting can get addictive! I love how the they turned out. I used crepe paper, card stock & chip board letters and added glitter!

This Noel one is my favorite!

and just for fun I did a little JOY!
Here is the stocking I finished today!
I will be shipping it to my partner for the Stocking Swap hosted
by Hope of Going Sew Crazy. It is done in linen with
hand stitched Merry Christmas and sequins for a little fun!
The lettering did not show up so well in the photos.
Also for those interested I will be releasing the baby doll carrier
pattern to my etsy shop at a great price very soon!
Have a great evening! Meg

I can not believe the generosity of this lady she has had quilt give aways in the past but this time she is giving away 3 quilt to 3 different people and you can get in on the fun! Head over to the Old Red Barn blog and get your name in the drawing.

This Sugar Snap one is my favorite! Though they are all so beautiful!

Speaking of Sugar Snap here are some pics of my newest creations using this
yummy fabric. I am gearing up for launches featuring
Melissa Averinos and her beautiful new fabric collection!

This is a new design I call a bubble tote.
I am really happy how it turned out!
I really love the bottom!

Oh Baby!!!!

It seems I have babies on the mind lately my son will be 5 in December and I am starting to get that baby itch! Oh well in time I guess.....

Remember when I posted these well I created them for a M. Miller Baby Bootie contest and at the time my girl friend had just found out she was having a little girl! I have been counting down the days until they fit her tiny feet. She was over the other day and I tried and they finally fit I was so excited I had to take pictures. I love her little baby legs!

I was inspired by a post Anna Maria Horner did a while ago on a gift she created for her daughter! I love homemade gifts and I have wanted to try to make a carry along baby bed for a while but I have not had a little girl to make one for. Well I guess it got the better of me and I drew up a pattern and made this. I love how it turned out.

I even made a matching mini quilt and pillow!

Have you seen the new line of fabrics Sugar Snap from Melissa Averinos it is simply Yummy!! I have been waiting for it to hit the stores. I ordered mine from Jona and it arrived this weekend, I have already started playing. I love the colors.

Here is a peek at the flap I have done it will go on a purse.

I hope to have it finished tomorrow!

More to come soon! Meg

Trendy Textiles & Getting Caught up!

Trendy Textiles is having a super fun launch on Etsy to promote the Holiday's & Sandi Henderson's new patterns!

I will be listing a few cupcake pincushion's in my shop very soon, and if the item purchased has the Mistletoe Marathon logo in it you will receive a FREE gift from me! Now is the time to start thinking about Holiday Shopping!

On another note the Holiday Bazaar was a little slow, but I did have fun and made some new friends & contacts! I have been listing all of the items that did not sell in my Etsy shop at really great prices! Along with some fun little fabric stacks.

I have been working on a fun little tutorial for a Tissue holder I hope to have posted this week!

More to come soon! Meg
